Senior Director, Global Compliance & Business Practices Requisition Number: 22820BR Description: Reports to Vice President, Global Compliance & Business Practices and provides support to President, regional and country management teams for Animal Health. This position is responsible for the co-development and implementation of the Companys Global Compliance function for Intervet/Animal Health through close interaction with Regional and local country management teams and Regional Compliance teams. Directly supervises a full-time Compliance Director and works closely with Regional Compliance Directors. The primary purpose of the position is to work as a key member and resource for the corporate (located in Boxmeer Netherlands) and regional management teams in six regions of the world. Particular focus is placed on ensuring that country operations have integrated compliance programs and activities into the business operations and that there is accountability and transparency for compliance at the local country operations. The function, through a risk-based approach helps embed business integrity and compliance behavior into the Regional and local country business operations, in an effective and efficient manner. The primary objective is to advise regional and country management on the required elements of compliance programs and ensure that country management teams establish and sustain an effective compliance program in country. The position will provide leadership and best practices to the regional management and regional compliance teams and make regulars with country visits and regular communications with these colleagues. Works closely with the business and compliance colleagues, as well as Global Law, Global Finance, and the Global Internal Audit function. The position also, acts as a coordinator and catalyst for corporate compliance initiatives into the local/regional operations, and leads, directs or participates in regional and local initiatives and projects as appropriate and necessary. As a senior staff member, the individual must have the appropriate level of business and compliance experience, as well as executive presence, to advise management on complex business process and compliance related issues and to communicate issues and action plans through the operation.
