Business Analyst MD Open (J#28018) Title: Business Analyst Company: MedImmune Inc. Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Location: Gaithersburg MD Location: Gaithersburg MD Req: 01126 Major Duties and Responsibilities (including supervising others): Position will work in IT addressing the business technology needs within the area of Medical and Regulatory Affairs. Position will be responsible for understanding business problems and working with relationship managers and technical team to develop technology solutions in support of business needs. In addition position will be responsible for working with the business owners to implement and make necessary process and organizational changes to accommodate new technology solutions. Position will own the definition of business requirements and work with the Relationship Managers to translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization. Position will manage the changes to such specifications; track the life of a requirement both forwards and backwards (e.g. from its origins through its development and specification to its subsequent deployment and use and through periods of ongoing refinement and iteration in any of these phases); act as liaison between IT and business units for feasibility of technical solution [help selection process with right tools] to meet business needs.
