Title: Compliance
Company: Forex Capital Markets
Salary: $50,000 annually (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Description:
The Compliance-Regulatory Affairs Associate will provide support to the regulatory affairs team and is responsible for reviewing, maintaining, documenting and responding to regulatory requests. The Compliance Associate will also ensure the quality of content and format of regulatory submissions. They also have to ensure consistency, completeness, and adherence of standards for all submissions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Review and respond to regulatory requests
- Understand and develop knowledge of regulatory guidelines and how they influence firm s business processes
- Liaise with the Operations, Legal and other departments as needed
- Must be familiar with Operations and Treasury processes; new account activations, back office operations, and transactions
- Assist with internal and external audits of the firm
- Maintain and update documentation and files
- Assist in reviewing and producing compliance policies and procedures as needed
- Perform special projects as needed
- Assist in general responsibilities and designated tasks of the Compliance program

Experience and Skills:

- Fundamental understanding of regulatory issues that could affect the firm
- Knowledge of global regulatory requirements with respect to, but not limited to, Anti-Money Laundering, NFA/CFTC regulations, FSA and European regulations
- Self-starter and able to work with other departments and build smooth working relationships
- Team player and able to prioritize in a fast moving, constantly changing environment
- Strong research skills, analytical and problem solving skills, and attention to detail
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Must be eligible to work in the USA (No H1 Visa Sponsorship)
- BA/BS Degree in a related study with a 3.0 minimum GPA
- 1-2 years Compliance or relevant department experience with regulatory compliance in a financial institution.

Additional Preferred Experience (not required):

- An advanced degree
- Experience in conducting compliance and/or legal research and policy drafting
- Fluency in French, Italian, German, Greek, Japanese, or Chinese
