Clinical Project Manager CO Open (J#45494)

Title: Clinical Project Manager

Description Responsible for the management of various projects related to accreditation and regulatory requirements and/or contractual obligations within the Managed Care Medical Management Department. Project management includes responsibility for directing the planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of all assigned projects. Facilitates the use of various methodologies and research evaluation methods. Responsible for the development of policies and procedures that includes writing and revising as required. Responsible to see that the project is completed on time, within budget based on mutually agreed upon department and contractual expectations.Must be a team player who supports the fundamentals of project management with the ability to work with internal and external staff. Ability to maintain a courteous and mutually respectful relationship with all team members.
RequirementsBachelors or Masters Degree in a health care profession preferred or an equivalent
combination of education and experience.

Five to ten years related experience.

5-10 years of project management, accreditation, compliance/quality assurance in a health are related field. Background in regulatory affairs and compliance preferred in a health care related field. Excellent communication, organizational and team building skills. Prefer a strong background in the use of various Information Systems (IS) technologies. Statistical skills and database management desired. Must have the ability to establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of projects and make recommendations.
