| Audit Specialist MN Open (J#37125) Education: Bachelors Degree Experience: 4 - 9 years Audit Coordinator Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, invites you to consider a rewarding career as a Laboratory Medicine Audit Coordinator with one of the worlds leading medical centers. Youll oversee and facilitate the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology internal audit program; organize supplier qualification activities; participate as a member of the team hosting external audits and risk identification associated with audit findings. We are looking for a high degree of self-motivation and expertise in auditing techniques and practices. This position receives direction from the Quality and Regulatory Unit Manager and other members of the Quality and Regulatory Management team. Qualified candidates will have a 5+ years experience in a clinical laboratory or regulatory affairs (of which at least 2 include internal and external auditing experience and leading audit teams). A bachelors degree in a scientific field is expected, plus proficiency in a variety of auditing techniques and types (i.e., tracer, process and system audits); experience in planning, conducting and reporting audits; and familiarity with auditing tools, strategies and interviewing techniques. Experience performing audits as part of a formal vendor audit program or on behalf of a regulatory body is a definite advantage. The individual we seek has excellent observational, problem-solving and verbal/written communication skills, and understands all aspects of laboratory medicine.
