| Accreditation Coordinator KY Open (J#45388) Title: Accreditation Coordinator Company: Galen College Industry: Education - Teaching - Administration Reference ID: MCACCCOORDDEC11 Job Description Accreditation Coordinator Galen College of Nursing Louisville, KY Position Goal: The Accreditation Coordinator will support the Office of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance by assisting in the coordination and organization of multiple facets of the accreditation process required for self-studies and ongoing regulatory compliance. In pursuit of this goal, the Coordinator will collect and analyze supporting documentation maintained by all campuses to ensure the College continues to meet accreditation requirements and standards Position Responsibilities: Essential Duties: - Prepare, review, and edit materials required for accreditation applications and site visits. - Organize and interpret faculty qualification data and identify strategies for improvement in maintaining faculty credential and workload databases. - Identify strategies for improvement and consistency related to accreditation. - Maintain up to date knowledge of Galen and all of its policies, procedures, and resources. - Assist with policy development and recommendations for the organization through research based on best practices in higher education, internal findings, and regulatory guidelines. - Coordinate updates to all institutional publications and review all published materials for compliance with applicable regulations. - Monitor local, regional, and national publications for news and events that may impact the College. - Perform data analysis and interpretation, writing as well as disseminating reports. - Collaborate with committees and individuals to ensure the achievement of all departmental objectives. - All other duties related to ensuring completion of applications as assigned.
