| Corporate ID Open (J#44989) Title: Corporate Company: GCC Consulting Director Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Duties: Will be primary resource to the local Plan regarding State and Federal legislative and regulatory policy positions that will advance company's goals: Oversee all activities related to Medicaid programs in the following role: Develop and promote company's legislative and regulatory issues at the State level. Coordinate with other company's Staff in developing and promoting company's legislative and regulatory issues at the Federal level. May serve on local boards of community agencies or other Non-Profit organizations that support company's goals. May also have oversight for specific departments such as PEBB and Medicaid managed care programs. Develop and maintains appropriate lines of communication with major regulators. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications or related field; Master's Degree desirable. Health Insurance background highly desirable. Juris Doctorate degree preferred. 7-10 years of experience in public policy / community affairs, including regulatory affairs, Government Relations, policy decisions and/or healthcare. Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and communicate effectively both orally and in Writing, on detailed policies in a clear and concise manner. Demonstrated sound judgment, critical thinking abilities. Develop collations and synergy with partners ( e.g. Chambers of Commerce, community agencies, legislators, regulators). Ability to communicate in a variety of public settings, including knowing what to and what not to communicate. Ability to draft rules and amendments to regulations and legislation. Strong analytic and strategic thinking capabilities. Strong community relations with ties to all aspects of the community. Knowledge of regulatory and sales processes. Must have political acuity and savvy. Ability to analyze proposed legislation and/or regulations and to determine impact on the business.
