| API Pharmaceutical Analytical MA Open (J#45779) Title: API Pharmaceutical Analytical Company: TUV SUD America Description Midwest API Pharmaceutical company seeking Analytical Director Specific responsibilities to this position: - Responsible for the supervision of the Analytical Services department in the development and application of state of the art analytical techniques including HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, ICP. - Provide strategic analytical oversight to client projects including interacting with internal and external groups (Regulatory Affairs, Synthetic Chemists, External Clients, etc.). - Proven success in leading a high through-put pharmaceutical (API and Drug Product Formulation) laboratory environment. - Proven Project Management skills, focusing on results, timelines, expenditures, workload balance and customer satisfaction - Strong Management skills to develop, mentor and train scientists and associates within the department. Provide cross functional, lateral leadership. - Author and/or direct the development and assembly of expertise specific CMC sections of regulatory filings - Must have strong technical skills; capable of analytical method development, validation, generation of development reports and validation protocol. RequirementsAn advanced degree, preferably a Ph.D. degree in analytical chemistry or equivalent, preferred and a minimum of 5 years of managing in a high throughput lab setting with 10 years industrial experience working within an API or Drug Product facility. | |||
